"Even a soul submerged in sleep is hard at work and helps make something of the world." – Heraclitus, Fragments
The photographs in this exhibit present the many facets of the universal experience of sleep: from public to private, social to solitary, static to dynamic, and factual to allegorical. Explore the hidden world of sleep through vintage snapshots, intimate contemporary portraits, monumental images, and sculptures.
